EN 17037 §4.4 — Protection from glare

Requirement
Metric: Daylight Glare Probability (DGP), evaluated over occupied hours. Applies to spaces with vertical or inclined daylight openings and to occupants who cannot freely choose their position or viewing direction (e.g. reading, writing, or working at a display).

for no more than 5 % of the space's occupation time.
Calculation setup
Verified either with a simplified method rating shading devices, or a full annual DGP calculation from climate data — see Annex E of the standard for both methods. Not based on the daylight provision reference plane or grid.
How LUX handles it
Status: 🔜 Planned, not yet supported in LUX Live v0.3.0. Glare protection is not currently computed by LUX.
