European standard — EN 17037:2018
Legal status
Reference standard, not law by itself. EN 17037:2018 Daylight in buildings (with amendment A1:2021) is the harmonised European standard published by CEN. It becomes binding where a national building code adopts it — which Sweden (SS-EN 17037, see BFS 2024:8), Norway (TEK17 §13-7) and Denmark (BR18) all do, each with its own thresholds.
EN 17037 defines four recommendations, each with three levels — minimum, medium, high. A design does not have to meet all four. Each has its own page:

Each recommendation has its own calculation setup and reference points — see its page. None of the four mandate a reflectance set; see Reflectance for the values LUX uses.
How LUX handles it
Status: 🔜 Planned, not yet supported in LUX Live v0.3.0 — LUX Live currently reports against BFS 2024:8 and TEK17 by name, not EN 17037 directly, though the underlying DF computation is the same. See each recommendation's own page for its specific status.
