Other requirements & reference

Everything here is either not a mandatory national regulation, or is product-neutral background material rather than a requirement at all. Four things live under this section:

• European standard — EN 17037:2018 — the harmonised European reference standard behind most of the national codes in Regulations, covered here in full since it is not itself binding law.
• Miljöbyggnad — a Swedish voluntary certification scheme, with its own solar heat load indicator.
• Metrics — the daylight factor, daylight autonomy and solar heat load metrics used throughout the regulation pages.
• Optical properties — the reflectance and transmittance material inputs any ray-tracing simulation needs.

The metrics and optical-properties articles are shared reference, linked from the methodology sections of both LUX Live and LUX Certify, and from the regulation pages throughout this section.
